The wines of Telish, part of the future of wines worldwide

From the 6th to the 8th of November 2011 at Hong Kong was held the second edition of one of the most important and prestigious event in the wine sector – Wine Future (www.winefuture.hk)

Here was gathered the “color” of the wine industry from worldwide, among whom: Steven Spurrier (UK), Tim Atkin MW (UK), Angelo Gaja (IT), Christian Lopez (CL), David Pearson (US), Don St. Pierre Jr. (CN), Eduardo Chadwick (CN), Francis Ford Coppola (US), Jan Ford (CN), Jaime Araujo (US), James Sucklin (US), Jancis Robinson (UK), Jeannie Cho Lee MW (HK), Lisa Perroti Brown MW (SG), Michel Bettane (FR), Michel Rolland (FR), Miguel Torres (ES), Need Goodwin MW (JP), Randall Grahm (US), Robert Parker Jr. (US) and many others.

” Some of the topics, which were discussed during the 12 panels, were:
– “Wine economics and investments”
– “New media, new consumer”
– “Doing business and selling wines in Asia”
– “New marketing strategies for the wine industry”
– “The use of Internet and social media”
– “Consumption Solutions for the Public”
– “The future of wine” – final debate,
aimed to give an answer to the most pressing matters in the wine sector at the moment.”

During the three day event, Robert Parker Jr., Jancis Robinson and Pancho Campo, made tastings of some of the best wines in Bordeaux, Spain and worldwide:

– „The Magical 20“ – led by Robert Parker Jr.,20 wines from the best Bordeaux ‘s – 2009;
– „Beyond Bordeaux“ – led by Jancis Robinson, presented by 15 wines from worldwide;
– „The diversity and Passion of Spanish Wines“ – led by Sancho Campo, 17 from the leading wines in Spain;

The team of Telish took part in this prestigious event, giving the opportunity to a large part of the leading wine critics and specialists in the world, to taste and comment the quality of produced from the company wines. Wine legends such as Jancis Robinson, Michel Rolland, Steven Spurrier, Michel Bettane, Jeanie Cho Lee, Randall Grahm, James Sucklin and many others, remained fascinated by the quality of the wines, which Telish presented: Castra Rubra 2008; Via Diagonalis 2008; Pendar 2009; Nimbus Pino Noir Premium 2010; Butterfly’s rock 2009; Dominant 2009; Nimbus Syrah Premium 2009.

As a result, at the final debate for the future of wine, more than 2/3 of the specialists, who took part in the event, coalesced around the opinion that the future of wine belong to the countries of the Black Sea region, to which Bulgaria belongs.

This was another step, which Telish made in direction to popularize Bulgaria as a country that produces high quality wines.
